We have had tens of thousands of clients since 2012, and we've discovered that many would like to utilize our services again. Although over the years, we've found many of our clients have lost our website and/or contact method to do business with us again. We've thought of every possible method to check in with them and have not been able to figure out a practicable method without having to call them on the phone and bother them. With EZ texting, we've been able to send a simple text message to our clients, and in doing so, we've been delighted to discover that many of our clients were very happy to hear from us. With our first contact with clients, we increased our profits dramatically, as our old clients are now our current clients and know how to contact us in the future to work with us again. We sincerely appreciate the ease of contacting our previous clients, whom EZ Texting has provided our business with. It's allowed our customers to reconnect with us and allowed us to increase our profits by working with our valued clients once again. We highly recommend EZ Texting for anyone looking to reconnect with their clients.

We use EZ Texting at our business mainly to communicate with our employees about important work memos. We employ over 200 young adults and we find that they read and respond to text messages more frequently and fast than email. We communicate about employeee events, deadlines, updates, and schedule changes.

Pros

The platform is easy to navigate and very user friendly
The options for making groups helps us stay organized
The reports are prompt and helpful to confirm messages sent

It would be nice if it were a. It easier to work with templates
An automatic integration with Google forms to keep lists up to date

We use EZ Texting to connect with leads and customers alike. Its standout advantage is that, unlike email, texting bypasses the spam folder issue. While some marketing emails land in primary inboxes and others get filtered into spam, texts sent via EZ Texting reach their recipients about 98% of the time, assuming the phone number isn’t a landline, disconnected, or invalid. By using text messages, we avoid the email spam barrier and successfully reach our audience, contributing to better communication with customers and prospects. We send regular messages via ez texting to our contacts, which allows us to see who is interested in hearing from our organization.

The credit pricing system can be confusing when comparing different plans.
The email and mobile app notifications can be streamlined. They alert you about both opt-outs and regular messages, like customer questions. Ideally, the notifications should only show regular messages, and the opt-outs should resolve themselves in the background.
We would appreciate a simple, easy way to compare pricing plans based on potential usage amounts. The credits can make it feel like you have to run a calculation and go through a multi-step formula to figure out what you will pay for the software each month.

It is great to reach people who have given you their phone numbers. You can connect with leads and customers, strengthening rapport and staying in touch with them. They work well with Facebook ads through the Zapier connection, allowing you to follow up with prospects. However, if a business cannot access its leads' phone numbers, the tool will not be of much use. I know of a senior care company that was in business for years but relied strongly on email marketing. They did not ask for their leads' phone numbers and, therefore, did not find EZ Texting useful. That is expected from a company that does not ask prospects for their phone numbers.

We use EZ Texting to build stronger, more personal connections with our customers, making communication direct and engaging. From promoting our free classes and products to sending exclusive weekly texts to members of one of our programs, it keeps our community informed, involved, and excited!

Cons

More flexible contact segmentation. We’d love the ability to send messages to all contacts while easily excluding specific groups, ensuring that certain audiences don’t receive irrelevant messages. This added functionality would make our campaigns more precise and efficient.

It's great for quickly interacting with our clients and audience, whether it’s sending reminders, promoting free classes, or keeping our community engaged with weekly updates. However, it’s less ideal for more complex audience segmentation, as we’d love more flexibility in excluding specific groups when sending messages to all contacts.

We use EZ Texting to send messages to our restaurant clients such as coupons, specials and new menu item notifications. It helps us to bring in our clients more often. We are a small restaurant so we are slowly growing our list and trying to find new ways to use the text service.

It’s suited for text.blast to my clients to include a flyer. Too much text content is pricy however. It could be used to announce events and upcoming special dates for enrollment or deadlines. EZ Texting was the easiest and most cost-effective stand-alone texting software that we evaluated. It worked exactly as advertised. It was very easy to upload the list of contacts, very easy to draft texts and their AI wording suggestions were usually spot on. Sending, receiving and replying to text conversations worked exactly as one would expect them to.

We never integrated EZ Texting with our CRM. Not sure whether it's their fault or ours.
Other companies out there are now more multi-channel, combining texting and voice.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great for simple texting conversations. It's easy to get started and very intuitive and efficient to use. However, many CRM's now have texting as an internal tool, so many potential users may have texting tools already available to them thru their CRM. Also, there are a lot of start-ups combining AI texting with AI voice and/or chatbots, so they offer a more complete solution.

It's great to have a platform to be able to handle day-of-event messaging & for quick check-ins with people. Emails get lost or may not be in someone's 9-5 job; texting is the easiest/quickest way to get to people.
